Steven A. Wilson, a former
Internal Revenue Service Special Trial Attorney, has more than 25 years of tax experience. Mr. Wilson's extensive tax litigation experience includes complex cases such
as The Charles Schwab Corp. v. Commissioner, and Apple Computer, Inc. v. Commissioner, as well cases involving unreported income and civil tax fraud. Mr. Wilson is licensed to practive before the United States Tax Court, United States Court of Federal Claims, and numerous Federal District and Appellate Courts.
Mr. Wilson's practice focuses primarily on representing taxpayers before
the Internal Revenue Service. This respresentation includes handling tax audits, negotiating collection options, defending
taxpayers under criminal investigation, litigating wrongful levy and tax refund suits, assisting taxpayers with Federal tax liens, seeking the abatement of penalties and interest, and defending against proposed trust fund penalties.
Mr. Wilson is well versed in the policies and procedures of the Internal Revenue Service, he utilizes his knowledge and experience to explore the best approach for each taxpayer. Mr. Wilson has extensive experience in preparing and successfully negotiating Offers in Compromise and installment agreements.
